Gemma Biggadike Signs for Real Bedford Ladies

Real Bedford Ladies can confirm that midfielder Gemma Biggadike has signed for the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Joining from MK Dons, Biggadike was vice-captain of the side under Charlie Bill, having played in Milton Keynes for just under 3 seasons. Biggadike previously played at Watford, making her senior debut at 20 years old.

On signing for Bedford, Biggadike said:

“I’m excited to get started here at Real Bedford. We have a great group already, with some promising talent for this level which matches the ambition of the club as a whole.”

Real Bedford Ladies manager, Charlie Bill, said:

"Gemma is another fantastic character that we wanted involved in this journey from the off. A natural leader both on & off the pitch. A centre midfielder who will dictate the tempo of the game & who understands her role clearly in midfield. With Tier 3 & Championship experience she can certainly help push us on this season"

Biggadike will link up with the rest of the Real Bedford squad this week ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. To make sure you don’t miss a second of the action you can purchase your season ticket card here.
