Callum Nicolson Joins The Pirates

Real Bedford can confirm midfielder Callum Nicolson has signed for the club from AFC Dunstable.

Having captained Dunstable last year, reaching the Southern Central Division One Play-offs in the progress, Nicolson started his career in the Luton Town academy.

With a spell at Welwyn Garden City also under his belt, the 21 year-old heads to McMullen Park with significant non-league experience.

On signing for The Pirates, Nicolson said:

“Real Bedford seemed like a really good option for me at this point in my career. The set-up is very professional and the ambitions to climb the league excite me, I can’t wait to get stuck in and start my time at the club with a great group of players.”

Manager, Rob Sinclair said:

“Callum is a good character who wants to learn, develop and climb up the levels. Having led AFC Dunstable last year he has some valuable experience already, alongside his technical ability and incredible work rate. I’m looking forward to getting to work with Callum throughout this campaign.”
