Vote for September’s CoinCorner Men’s PLayer of the Month

September was a jam packed month for The Pirates with 5 league games as well as a crucial clash with Flackwell Heath in the Isuzu FA Vase. Here are your nominees for Coincorner Player of the Month:

Mo Ahmed
Mo Ahmed proved crucial across all the games in September, appearing in every match contributing 3 goals as well as a handful of assists. Ahmed’s direct running and dribbling alongside his clinical passing and eye for goal made him a handful for any defender down the left hand side of the pitch.

Ben Stevens
Becoming the only player to be nominated in back to back months for this accolade, Ben Stevens has continued his fine start to the season into the September month. With the injury later on in the month to Archie Jones, Stevens has stepped up providing multiple chances for the Pirates in both the FA Vase clash with Flackwell and the away trip to London Lions. Stevens has also proved clinical in front of goal, scoring 4 goals in 6 games for Bedford.

Lee Watkins
Controlling the midfield, Lee Watkins has been a vital cog within the Pirates well run ship. Having only missed 30 minutes of football across September, Watkins has worked tirelessly on the field to combine the attacking and defensive threat of the Real Bedford side with his skill and vision in the midfield.

Eddie Corbit
Having taken on the new position of full-back within the Real Bedford side. Corbit has shown signs of excellence within his new found position, scoring in back to back games against Tring Athletic and Sawbridgeworth Town respectively.
