Vote for October’s CoinCorner Men’s PLayer of the Month

October proved to be a record breaking month for The Pirates, including a record home attendance against Stansted as well as a record FA Vase win against MK Irish. Here are your nominees for Coincorner Player of the Month:

Mo Ahmed
Mo Ahmed proved crucial across all the games in October, a brace against MK Irish was key in helping Bedford progress through the FA Vase. But it wasn’t just his efforts in front of goal that caught the eye, his skill and dribbling has often caught defenders astray leaving space for teammates to capitalise on.

Josh Setchell

A superb solo goal against Biggleswade United as well as his efforts against Leighton Town whilst donning the captains armband both show the impact Setchell has made in his short time at the club.

Lee Watkins
Controlling the midfield, Lee Watkins has been a vital cog within the Pirates well run ship. In similar fashion to Ahmed, Watkins has joined an elite club of back-to-back nominees for Player of the Month, as his hard work in the midfield allows for others to shine further up the pitch.

Ollie Swain
In the midst of injury issues at the back, Swain has stepped up and produced some outstanding performances at centre half this month. With clean sheets in 2 of his 3 league starts as well as a first goal for the club against Crawley Green. Swain has picked up form off the back of a tricky start to the season with injury.
