Vote for DECEMBER’s CoinCorner Men’s PLayer of the Month

December was another unbeaten month for The Pirates with gutsy victories over FC Romania and Cockfosters. Here’s are the nominations for the CoinCorner December Player of the Month:

Archie Jones

Having returned from a shoulder injury over the course of the month, Jones has proved vital upon his return to the match day squad. After setting up a chance for Tom Wood against Harpenden in his first minutes of football in 2 months, Jones rounded out the month with a match-winning brace against Cockfosters in a MOTM performance.

Tyler McGregor

With only 3 goals conceded across the five games including 3 clean sheets, Tyler McGregor has complimenting the goal hungry Real Bedford attacked with an assured defensive display. McGregor’s most important intervention coming in the last few minutes of the Cockfosters game, where the goalkeeper pulled off a fingertip save to deny the visitors a late equaliser from set-piece.

Lee Watkins

Controlling the midfield, Lee Watkins has been a vital cog within the Pirates well run ship. Watkins has now become the first player to receive back-to-back-to-back nominees for Player of the Month, as his hard work in the midfield allows for others to shine further up the pitch.

Drew Richardson

Also collecting back-to-back nominations, Richardson has been crucial in giving The Pirates a sturdy foundation from which to attack. Domination in both boxes at set-piece as well as a resounding presence in the middle third, Richardson has gone from strength to strength over his short time at McMullen Park so far.
