Vote for August’s CoinCorner PLayer of the Month

August saw The Pirates back in competitive action, with seven league and cup games taking place over the month. Here are your nominees for Coincorner Player of the Month:

Joey Evans
It was a great first month for Joey, scoring nine goals, including the winner in our opening league game against MK Irish and back-to-back hat-ricks against Rothwell and Arlesey Town. Evans was also responsible for five assists, showing the value he has brought to McMullen Park, having signed from Moulton over the summer.

Tyler McGregor
Continuing his form from last year into this campaign, McGregor has been confident between the sticks, keeping a clean sheet in the season's first game against a strong MK Irish attack. Not only has McGregor made several vital saves in August, but he has also impressed with his distribution skills, turning defence into attack with his quick thinking.

Controlling the midfield, Charlie Smith has been ever present for The Pirates. He competed in every minute of every competitive fixture and scored an impressive free-kick against FC Clacton. Smith has shown security and leadership in every game this month, adding flair and control to the middle of the park.
