Laura Mitchell Joins Real Bedford

Real Bedford Ladies can confirm that attacker Laura Mitchell has signed for the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.

After spent the last two seasons at MK Dons, Mitchell makes the switch to McMullen Park boasting previous experience at Cambridge United as well as having represented Wales at age-grade level.

On signing for Bedford, Mitchell said:

“I'm extremely excited to sign for Real Bedford, the club has such exciting ambitions for the future and I can't wait to get started. We have targets we want to achieve this season and I can't wait to play my part in helping the team achieve them, hopefully by scoring a few goals along the way too.”

Real Bedford Ladies manager, Charlie Bill, said:

"Laura is another player who will make a huge impact in this squad. Coming off the back of a season in Tier 3 with excellent numbers for both goals and assists I have no doubt she will improve further in this department. She is one of the most technically gifted players I have worked with and can't wait to continue to work with her this season"

Mitchell will link up with the rest of the Real Bedford squad this week ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. To make sure you don’t miss a second of the action you can purchase your season ticket card here.
