Amber Gaylor Signs for The Pirates

Real Bedford Ladies can confirm that midfielder Amber Gaylor has signed for the club ahead of the 2024/25 season.

With experience at the top of the footballing pyramid, Gaylor heads to McMullen Park after spells at Yeovil Town, Millwall, Crystal Palace and most recently Billericay Town to become Charlie Bill’s first summer signing.

Having played against The Pirates in an FA Cup clash back in November, the 28-year old will now call McMullen Park home as Real Bedford aim to push for back-to-back promotions.”

On signing for Bedford, Gaylor said:

“The club’s vision is clear and the ambitions set out really excite me as a player. I’m thrilled to sign for the club and look forward to helping push The Pirates towards where they want to be.”

Real Bedford Ladies manager, Charlie Bill, was pleased to get Gaylor through the door as his first signing of the summer:

“Amber is a huge signing for us. Her experience playing at a higher level will no doubt be invaluable on and off the pitch. As soon as we heard about the possibility of signing her, we wanted to act on it quickly. A player who will look to dictate the whole game in possession & will fit perfectly for our philosophy.”
